Variations of Roulette and Internet Gaming

Roulette is an age old game that is actually very simple. There are, like any other parlor gambling game, a few variations on the initial theme.

Traditional roulette is simple, but has a large number of betting variations. A wheel is spun and a marble is dropped into the spinning wheel. The marble falls into one of 38 slots and that is what determines the outcome of the spin.

The slots have the numbers from 1 to 36 and a single and double zero slot. This makes for a total of 38 possible outcomes. The bets that are placed by player's payout based upon a 1 in 36 chance. This gives the house a slight advantage on every bet, making it an overall profit for the casino.

The numbers are also given a black or red color and there are bets that are based upon color, different divisions of numbers, odd or even and various combinations of those possibilities. Since the game is quick and easy to understand, it is very popular and has been for some time.
